The Wine Spectator rates this Outstanding at $90, and equal to Gelin’s $150 premier cru Clos Prieur:
Cherry, currant and wild scrub aromas and flavors mark this sinewy red. Firms up on the finish as much from the vivid acidity as the well-integrated tannins. Best from 2022 through 2033.
The concentration and intensity of Gelin’s 70-year-old vines really shows here.
