The vintage charts have 2015 Amarones, an especially rich and sumptuous vintage, the best since at least 2007. And the 2015 La Giaretta Amarone is certainly richer and riper than usual. Yet critically, it retains the elegance and almost table wine drinkability that have earned La Giaretta such a following.
Even more remarkably, in the smaller, very sought after vintage, La Giaretta have held their pricing. (Well, almost – our cost is up a dollar.) But we’ve held our pricing.
